Dr R S Deshpande is former Director of the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bangalore, an all-India Institute of interdisciplinary research and training in social sciences. During his tenure as Director ISEC has achieved great success. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters’ Degree with a Ph.D. in Economics.
